History of the School

On the occasion of the silver jubilee of our school, we are privileged to take you through the journey of Bala Yesu Vidyalayam to Infant Jesus International school.

"Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight or any experience that reveals the human spirit" .

To equip the students with the ennobling qualities of truth, justice, non-violence, tolerance, and Compassion so as to emerge as the finest alumni, bringing glory to alma mater. To give preference to the poor and the marginalized not only in admission but also positively help them to develop their natural resources and human faculties, especially their imagination. Infant Jesus International School completed twenty-five fruitful years of its existence. As you sit down to trace its history a thousand pictures, a thousand memories flood into your mind, each vying with the other to be written down.

Founding of Bala Yesu Vidyalayam

In the year, 1995 Rev. Fr. Maramreddy Anthony Reddy was appointed by the Archbishop of Hyderabad, Dr .S. Arulappa to develop the mission at Shamshabad. As a zealous missionary, he had enthusiasm and commitment to educate the rural and poor children in and around Shamshabad to ensure value base education in1997 he founded Bala Yesu Vidyalayam.

The admissions were opened for classes from Nursery to V. In the first academic year, the strength of the school was around 160 during his tenure which reached up to 400. The new building had a G+2 floor with a hostel facility as well. The first batch of X had a stunning 100% results in the 2002 SSC Board Examination which was possible through dedicated and committed staff. The seed of education was sown by Rev. Fr. Maramreddy Anthony Reddy with a vision to make this campus an educational hub for which sponsorship is received from Manos Unidas from Spain. We appreciate your contribution.

The heavenly Father Was pleased with the fruitful efforts of Fr. Maramreddy Anthony Reddy invited him to his eternal bliss in the year 2002.

After the sudden demise of Rev. Fr. M. Anthony Reddy, a talented and energetic personality Rev. Fr. Kommareddy Marreddy was appointed as the Principal of Bala Yesu Vidyalayam in 2002, The school strength began to increase from 400-600 because of its quality and value-based education. Inspite of all hardships, he made a daring decision to construct a compound wall for the safety and security of the school children.

After the completion of his tenure in 2006 his grace Most Rev.Marapudi Joji bestowed the responsibility upon Rev. Fr. Allam Arogya Reddy as a third principal of Bala Yesu Vidhyalam who then took up the reins of the school to fulfill the vision and mission of education and keep alive the dreams of the founder Rev Fr. Maramreddy Anthony Reddy. "Leaders are made, they are not born. They are made by hard effort, which is the price that all of us must pay to achieve any goal that is worthwhile" . Rev. Fr. Allam Arogva Reddy was highly passionate about the upliftment of the students by introducing various aspects like the rule of language which in turn helped students to reach the pinnacle in their future, further more phonetic and FM radio has made them more confident and empowering which resulted in placing them at better positions in their future. He initiated the school cabinet aspect to infuse leadership qualities in students. He familiarized the case study to knit trio between the principal, teacher, and parent for a child's development. He motivated the students to participate in morning school assembly to inculcate public speaking skills.

Excellence in academics is the hallmark of a good institution and during his tenure, our school had 100% results in CBSE board exams from 2015-18. His innovative thoughts raised the glory of our school which had resulted in the growth of school strength from 600 to 1800 which is remarkable. Seven new buses were purchased for the transport of the students. His innate wisdom and contribution towards this school hold a very great place. Undoubtedly he is a living proof and exemplar of humanity.

Best Principal Award

Today the school has a unique place in Shamshabad mandal and the credit goes to Fr. Allam Arogya Reddy who strived hard relentlessly and got the Affiliation of the school from CBSE Board in 2010. Since then Bala Yesu Vidyalayam is renamed as Infant Jesus International School.

Regular training sessions were arranged for the teachers which enhances a teacher's capabilities to face the challenges and at the same time motivates them to update their knowledge with the change in their subject and education system.

His excellence in the field of education is recognized by the Telangana state govt. and bestowed on him with the award of "BEST PRINCIPAL" . Our heartfelt congratulations to you Father... During his long tenure as the principal, he had constructed the 3rd floor of the school building. Due to the great efforts made by Rev. Fr. The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and involvement in each other's lives. The bond which we share with Smt. Sabita Indira Reddy Hon'able education minister of Telangana is never-ending. 'You are not a drop in the ocean you are the entire ocean in a drop' . A contribution made by Rev. Fr. Ch Benjamin,Rev.Fr D. Bala, Rev. Fr. Michael, and Rev. Fr. Gabrial was an asset to the institution. Succeeding Rev. Fr. Allam Arogya Reddy Rev Fr.M.Chinnaiah is a man of simplicity, hard-working, and self-disciplined was appointed as the principal of Infant Jesus International School from 2018 to 2019. Though it was a short period of time, he proved to be an effective leader. Success isn't always about greatness it's about consistency, consistent hardwork leads to success. In the year 2019 another young blood, a spirited and a sportive, genius personality Rev.Fr.Pasala Joseph was appointed as principal by then Archbishop Most Rev.Thumma Bala.

NCC was initiated by Fr. Joseph with a group of 50 students to inculcate the values of discipline self-defense and unity. He developed social and emotional skills in the students by making the children Visit regularly to the home for the aged and orphanage. Further more during the pandemic, he initiated online classes for the smooth functioning of academics. Because of his initiation, our school was able to pay the salaries to our staff inspite of the economic crisis. He had served this institution as principal from 2018-2022. During his tenure as principal, the New High School Building (G+3) was constructed under the supervision of HAES secretary Rev. Fr. Allam Arogya Reddy and was inaugurated in 2020 by then Archbishop Most Rev. Thumma Bala The year 2022 is a remarkable year in the history of Infant Jesus International School as we were blessed with a service-oriented caring and lover of nature in the person of Rev. Fr.B. Anand as our new principal. He is a great Visionary and great perfectionist in developing infrastructural facilities as well as the academics of the students.

Fr. Anand from the day he stepped into the campus in the month of May, up to now, has been putting his heart and soul into the development of this institution.
